      Pilates - Wellness Program 2019

      As part of the Faculty’s Health & Wellness program, Arts HR is coordinating an 8 weeks Pilates program to be offered from 11:00AM – 11:45AM on Wednesdays from 31st July - 18th September 2019 for all Faculty staff. Pilates lengthens and stretches all the major muscle groups in the body in a balanced fashion. It improves flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness. The health benefits of Pilates include: improved flexibility increased muscle strength improved posture improves concentration stress management and relaxation The sessions will be facilitated by Ms Lily Liu, a certified Pilates instructor who also coached these sessions last year. The sessions will be held in the Old Arts Building in the Arts Hall. The space is not carpeted, so mats are required, please bring yours to the session.
